PETITION: INFORMED-DECISIONS

We, the undersigned, call on Governor Braun and state leadership to immediately implement a pilot program that will establish Indiana as the national leader in vaccine safety & informed decision-making leveraging automated adverse event reporting.

The federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a broken system—outdated, underused, and ineffective. CDC's own research shows it captures less than 1% of vaccine-related adverse events, leaving millions of Hoosiers without important information for making critical health decisions, for our Hoosier babies, toddlers, & children.
Indiana is uniquely equipped to fix this.
Our state has the tools:
🔹 CHIRP—our mandatory vaccine reporting system
🔹 IHIE—one of the most advanced health information exchanges in the country
🔹 ESP-VAERS—CDC-Harvard developed technology that automates vaccine safety monitoring

With existing law, infrastructure, and bipartisan support for transparency, Indiana can lead the nation in building a trustworthy system that protects children, empowers parents, and rebuilds public trust.

We demand:
✅ The launch of a 12-month pilot program evaluating health outcomes among vaccinated, selectively vaccinated, and unvaccinated Hoosier children born in 2020
✅ Immediate implementation of ESP-VAERS technology using CHIRP and IHIE data
✅ Transparent public reporting of all findings, in accordance with HIPAA laws
✅ Indiana to lead the nation in accomplishing what HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr is planning to roll out.
We demand action that honors Hoosier families, medical liberty, and informed decision-making.

Let Indiana lead. Let Hoosiers choose.
